Who We Are?
My Personal Story and Journey Toward Self-Realization
When I was a child, I constantly asked the adults around me deep questions about existence: “How did we truly get here?” More often than not, their answers felt vague or superficial, even to my young mind. My curiosity centered on the existence of all living beings. One memory stands out vividly: at around seven years old, I asked my aunt, “If God created us, then who created God?”
I didn’t grow up in a particularly religious household. While my mother had a Christian upbringing, she chose not to impose those beliefs on me or my siblings. This gave me the freedom to explore and ask questions that others might shy away from. Although I didn’t receive all the answers I sought as a child, they began to unfold as I grew older.
I believe we’re all on a spiritual journey from the moment we’re born, whether we recognize it or not. For many, there are pivotal moments when we consciously awaken to this journey. My awakening came unexpectedly at age 20, during what is often referred to as the “dark night of the soul.” This period was marked by grief, confusion, and fear. At the time, I had no idea that I was undergoing a profound transformation—a metamorphosis shaping me into the best version of myself. It was during this time that I discovered my gifts as an Empath, including Claircognizance (the gift of clear knowing) and prophetic dreaming.
Looking back, I realize these gifts have always shown up throughout my life. But eventually, I reached a point where ignoring them was no longer an option, even if i tried. Embracing them has been one of the most empowering things that I could’ve done.
Navigating the intensity of these abilities was challenging, to say the least. Initially, I feared I was experiencing psychosis, but with time, I learned to embrace and refine my gifts. They have since become powerful tools for both personal growth and helping others in my life. I’ve witnessed the miraculous transformations that can occur when we open ourselves to the flow of divine energy.
Today, my mission is to pursue my passions and share them with the world. During my spiritual awakening, I yearned for knowledge and guidance to help ground me during times of uncertainty. That experience inspired me to create this blog, where I explore spiritual growth, knowledge and practical self-care. I firmly believe that knowledge is wealth, and everyone deserves access to the tools they need for self-empowerment. Through this platform, I hope to provide others with the guidance and inspiration that I once sought.
Seeing past my limitations
During my spiritual awakening, I faced some tough realizations about the world and my place in it. One of the most significant was recognizing that a traditional 9-to-5 career path was not for me. Although I understood this early on, I still decided to give it a try. I ventured into the field of Social Work as a preventive services caseworker—a child welfare position focused on keeping families together and supporting them. I hoped to make a meaningful impact.
However, just a few months in, I realized this career was not sustainable for me on a deeper level. I felt increasingly depressed until I finally listened to my higher self and left that field altogether. Around the same time, I also worked part-time as a youth advocate for those transitioning out of foster care—work that holds personal significance for me. In this role, I feel supported and able to be the change I want to see in the world, all while working in a flexible environment that respects my needs as a human being rather than treating me like a machine. This is work that I am still involved in while pursuing my other passions. The best part of this work is bringing peace, compassion, and understanding to the young people I serve.
I am also building a photography career. I enjoy capturing the essence of a person’s unique beauty and reflecting it back to them. This creative outlet brings me immense joy and allows me to express another side of myself. Poetry is another natural outlet of mine. It has been a great way for me to express myself and my emotions in a way that words can’t do justice, no pun intended. From time to time, I will share this art with you all.
While these experiences taught me valuable lessons, I knew deep down that my true purpose involved serving people in a way that aligned with my higher self and brought me joy. Along my journey, I discovered the system of Human Design, a spiritual tool that has been instrumental in my self-discovery. I learned that I am a Projector—an energy type that thrives by focusing on the right areas and using energy efficiently to avoid burnout. This understanding helped me align more deeply with my higher purpose.
For a long time, I struggled with fear-based beliefs around sharing my insights and gifts. I lacked confidence in putting myself out there. But over time, I came to the understanding and acceptance that I am worthy of sharing my knowledge, skills, and passions. One of my greatest joys is sharing what I’ve learned over the years. This blog, along with my other spiritual endeavors, represents my authentic way of showing up for myself—and, by extension, for others.
It has been a process to get here, but I know there are people who have been waiting for me to step into this role. I choose to step forward with courage and embrace my calling.
